AIDC Quality Management System has been awarded approvals from several prime aircraft and engine manufacturers, such as Boeing, Airbus, Bombardier, Bell, Sikorsky, GEAE, Rolls-Royce, Honeywell, etc., and it has also been certified by the third party for AS9100 & ISO 9001, PMA approval from Taiwan CAA and Repair Station. Over 900 special processes owned by AIDC have been approved by different customers. In addition, AIDC has been awarded in succession with approval for 10 categories of NADCAP process.
The water mist system protects the delicate & expensive equipment such as pc boards and components during maintenance. If protected by the foam chemical system like before, the corrosion effect for equipment will harm the aviation safety. The firefighting principal of the foam system is suffocation. Owing to the height of airplanes, it is impossible to achieve the goal of suffocation and will cause a disaster when fire. The water mist system only uses the natural resource of water for firefighting. When fire, the water particle will be inflated to about 1700 times and push the oxygen away from the fire to achieve the function of fire extinguished. Besides that the 80% of water mist particle meets the fire to be steamed so as to low down the water damage to decrease the damage for equipment.
